Henllan

I actually got on to the 1911 census for a short while anyway! One of the ancestors was born in Henllan Denbigh. Can anyone find him there for me please I would love to find his address? His name was John Davies b1864c and his parents were John from Abergele and Mary from Carmarthen.  I know...all good Welsh names and hundreds of them but Henllan appears to be quite small so here's hoping. He married in Liverpool later in life.

Morning William,

John Junior (think he had Daniel as a middle name) became a piano teacher/tuner and his Father was down as a tailor

I take it he married an Elizabeth B Knowles then in 1893.Working back from 1901,here are the Census Entries for John D Davies;

There is a Marriage listed on Lancashire BMDD in 1877 at Toxteth St Michael of a George Brewer and a Mary Davies.

Hi William,

What a star you are! Thank you so much for all that work. I didn't realise that Mary had remarried so that's knocked down a big wall. I will presume that John was born or raised in Wales before they moved to Liverpool and that's where the Henllan comes into it.
