Anyone going to Allerton Cemetery Liverpool
« on: Saturday 12 June 10 07:19 BST (UK) »
Hello, is anyone going to Allerton Cemetery in Liverpool,

I have a Edward George Cottingham and his wife buried there. CH23-41 Is the reference.

I would love a Photograph of their headstone if someone would not mind taking a pic for me.

I have Worldwide Ancestry so could repay someone with a look up.

Best wishes...Tim

Does the Mary Ann Cottingham in this list happen to be one of yours too, Tim? Just thought I'd point it out whilst Allan was going over there, just in case you hadn't seen it.

Good morning....well it`s not CE 23 41.....that was a Tyrer grave....sorry Tim but you are going to have to try and get the reference...at the front of the Cemetery there is a large board with a map of the reference grids...there is NO CH ....I`m only a mile away so I can go another time....let me know via PM if you get any info.......allan :)

there is an RC 23 near the Jewish graves on the opposite side of the road - where they Roman Catholics?

there is a CE 2E also - where they Church of England?

NC = I guess for "non-conformists" but nothing in the 20s

any more luck?
