any information greatly appreciated  :) :)

i dont have a credit card to purchase information online

I have previously mentioned that birth records  in Victoria only extend to 1920

A number of the above marriages that have been found were all post 1920.  You will need to re-read the thread.

I am looking for information on

Aubrey Barnard born approx 1884 to Frederick Barnard and catherine francis stone.

Reply#15 has the marriage of Frederick BARNARD to Catherine Francis STONE in 1910 and you are requesting the details of a child born to them in 1884

Quote
Catherine Francis STONE { b Tasmania} m Frederick BANNARD 1910 #6005R { this is an amended certificate}
Alison

Perhaps another look at your information.

Hello my name is Maureen and I am Dazza71's carer.

He expressed an interest in wanting to find out as much information as he could about his family which unfortunately he does not actively have involvement with anymore.

I am putting the information up as he asks me to do.

If I have missed something I sincerely apologise. I will go back and re-read the past threads.

He is unable to purchase any documents online so he may now be stuck to get further information.

Thankyou kindly for all your help, doing this has brightened his day.

 :) :) :) :)

I only mentioned re-reading past posts to absorb and detail the information already supplied.  It is very easy to be a bit overwhelmed with information. ;D

We are always keen to help people with their research but some of the information you are seeking is simply not available publicly.  Names of the children of the marriages would be on the death certificates of the parents.

Maureen it may be a good idea to make a family chart or tree.....I use to do that when I first started my research years ago.

Do ask if you think we can help with records that would be available.  Perhaps a read through some of the resources may help also.

Hi Alison/Dazza.

John Edward Barnard (son of Frederick and Margaret Barnard frmly Hibberd) is my great grandfather.

I have been trying to work on my family tree for the last couple of months.  I am so excited to see your response about finding an extensive family tree that relates to this... and PICS!

Currently, I am trying to find James Barnard's parents.  James was married to Catherine O'connor who had Frederick Barnard married Margaret Barnard who had John Edward Barnard and the other siblings.  I have a BDM certificates that state they were all miners over in Bendigo/Sandhurst.

Will love to hear from you guys and would absolutely love to see those pics!  :)

Thanks a bunch!

Danielle.

Hi Dazza,
I have looked at the most extensive tree on A******y. The person who has done this tree seems to be related throuh the Hibberds.
It gives the following which you should verify by obtaining some certificates.
Frederick Francis Barnard b 1911 Bendigo d 1978 Footscray.
His Parents
Frederick Barnard b 1886 Sandhurst { Bendigo} d 6.10.1965 Wangaratta
Catherine Francis Stone b 1890 Mitcham Vic d aft 1980
They were married 23.8.1910 in Bendigo.
Their children:
5 living brothers
1 living sister
and Fredrick { your grandfather}
and Alan John Kenny Barnard b 1922 d 1979

Frederick Barnards parents:
Frederick Barnard b 20.7.1857 Epsom d 23.9.1919 Rupert St Footscary
married 13.5.1881 Sandhurst to
Margaret Hebberd b 15.2.1862 Spring Gully Bendigo d 2.3.1943 Warliegh Road Footscray
Their children:
Aubrey Barnard
John Edward Barnard
George Hayden Barnard
Margaret Hilda Barnard b 19.10.1881 Bendigo d 29.1.1963 Flemington { married Thomas Fuller Kimpton}
Mabel Emma Eliza Barnard b 1884 Sandhurst d 1952 Footscray { married Richard Henry Windsor}
Frederick Barnard { yr Gfather}
Daisy Bedelia Barnard b 1888 Sandhurst d ? { married John Albert Walter Alldis}
Elsie May Barnard b 1890 d? { married Roy George Woodlands Thompson}
Isabella Catherine Lily Barnard b 30.8.1895 Bendigo d 4.10.1992 { married Tom Faithfull}
William Royal Barnard b 1897 Kensington Hill d 20.8.1973 Footscray { married Mary Lavinia Beatty}
James Laurence Barnard b 1900 Bendigo d 1963 Yarra { married Elizabeth Cree Cairns and Lena unknown}

Margaret Hibberds family:
Father: George Hibberd b 1808 Derbyshire d 11.1.1884 Bendigo
Mother:Bridget Mary Whelan b abt 1831 d 2.3.1943 12 Warliegh Rd Footscray

There is  alot about this family including many photographs.

The only information about Catherine Stone's family is that her father was
Francis Abel STONE b 1868 Carisbrook no death
mother
Susan Harriet WALKER b 1867 Menton d 1933 Melbourne- parents Henry James Walker and Catherine Kenny.
Like I said you will need to verify any of this with certificates or other records.
I will have a bit more of a look around for you.
Regards
Alison

Hello Deelilai1

Nice to meet you, We are related which is good to know.

I am wondering
who john edward barnard married ??
how many children they had ??
When was john born and died???
When was his wife born and died??

My best guess on james barnard is that he was born in the 1820's, either in Victoria or England. im not sure. I cannot purchase any documents online at this stage.

Have you realised like I have that we are part of a very large family ???

If you need any information on my side feel free to let me know what is required.
Is your last name Barnard??

 :) :) :)

I have downloaded Margaret Haydon's birth certificate to help you with information for your James.

31 May 1878
Golden Gully
City of Sandhurst
County of Bendigo
Margaret Haydon - not present at registration
Father - James BARNARD, Miner, 45 years, born Essex, England
Married 29 August, 1852, Castlemaine
Issue living and deceased
Mary 23 years
Florence 22 years
Fred 20 years
James OConnor  18 years
William John  14 years
George 12 years
Catherine 10 years
Emma 7 years
Charles deceased
Mother Catherine BARNARD formerly OCONNOR, 43 years born County Westmeath, Ireland
Informant  James Barnard, Father, Golden Gully
Registered 19 Jun 1878 Sandhurst.

I have searched the 1841 census but am unable to find a James b. c1833 with parents...only two living with much older people and therefore no way of identifying them.

There may be a parish record for the marriage at Castlemaine in 1852.  Perhaps contact the http://www.castlemainehistoricalsociety.com/   as they hold the parish records for the time you are seeking.

Cheers
Cando
