just got back from holiday, sorry for not getting in touch sooner.

family name of Laing,
my granny Elizabeth Laing born 1902 father unknown
her mother Elizabeth Laing, address was Fore Street or Plough Inn Johnshaven
her granny Ann Officer married to David Laing 1866 Johnshaven
her gt granny Elizabeth Ogilvie married to David Laing not sure of date
her gt gt granny Christian Lees married to David Laing June 1822
her gt gt gt granny Helen Carchary married to Alexander Laing no date
her gt gt gt gt granny Margaret Cowie married to William Laing 1751
William was born 1729 his father I think was a John Laing of Benholm but no record of mother.
some record of weavers and some fishing folk.
this does this seem to be long winded. I was thinking of comming down to see the Benholm Kirk I don't know if I can look at any records there.

Elizabeth my granny born 1902 her mother Elizabeth stayed at Fore Street, Plough Inn?, gt gt gtandparents
Ann and David Laing. can you give any info on these.
