Am in contact with bacall so no more will be posted here.

Cheers
Cando

Would have to wonder WHY? Perhaps it is just Cando who will not be posting anything further here  ??? I hope the rest of us will continue to post.  ;D

Rootshat would prefer that UNLESS the information is of a sensitive nature or concerns possible living persons that it should ALWAYS be posted on the public board.  ;)

I can only suggest that if ANYBODY has ANYTHING (Which does not concern possible living persons or could be considered SENSITIVE) they should continue to post it here on this thread  (We have no idea what information has been passed on privately or if we may have found something which may not been passed on privately). Thank You.

Cheers Kris  :)

I am sure that a pm thank you and a request for another area research does not have to be posted on this board and there was no other person posting info from the SA records on the thread.

Kris have you considered that no more may be required on this line of enquiry?  Of course if you wish to continue with further research that may not be required,  that is your prerogative.

Next time I will not post when I have been thanked by pm and therefore not continuing to research further.

I always understood that words typed in upper case indicated shouting.

Sorry Cando, myself and others  could not "consider that that no more may be required on this line of enquiry", by what we have seen posted.  You posted a statement (You probably meant it was only your choice not to post anything further for whatever reasons, but others were understandably wondering)

The statement

caused confusion. Other members wondered just what information had been sent privately and wished to know if this statement meant they should not post any further information to the thread  ???  RootsChat (as I am sure you are aware) is all about posting information to the public board wherever possible. It means others searching for ancestors via seach engines may find the information and in doing so make connections. There was no "I have sent such and such sensitive information privately. The original poster wants nothing further, and I have been thanked via PM"  :-\

Perhaps we all are missing something.  ???

I will contact each on individually with an apology for causing such overwhelming confusion.

Hi

I am currently researching Marlan McEntee (born around 1910) who was the sister of Irene McEntee. Your friend and my partner would be second cousins.

I don't know how far you got with the research, however I have some information on the family if you are still interested.

Marlan was one of 11 children. Her parents were Michael McEntee and Marlan McEntee (nee Whitford). The children were all born in SA, WA & NSW.

Regards
Bry
