Robert Johnson 1789

Hi, Please can anyone help? I am looking for my Great Great Great Grandfather, his name is Robert Johnson and I believe he was born on or around 1789 in Dublin Ireland, by the time he married Isabella Ward in 1809, he was living in Birmingham and working as a Gun Finisher. I know that by 1851 he was living in Pritchett Street Birmingham. I would love to know exactly where he was born, I have hit a brick wall and unable to find anything else

Do you know what religion Robert's family was, or what part of Dublin City or county they came from ?

Some parish records Dublin (mostly the City) are available on http://www.irishgenealogy.ie/  More Church of Ireland records for the City area are due to be added in the next few weeks.

I do not know what religion Robert johnson was, only that his descendents were mostly Church of England or Methodist, and I have no idea what part of Dublin he came from, I only found this out through the census records that stated where he was born, but many thanks for the information.
