There is a Liverpool marriage-1909 for John Taylor and Alice M Walsh.
This seems the likely one for the census.

I found a Duignan married a John Taylor about 1908 on free bmd.co.uk

'about 1908'? the index on FreeBMD should narrow it down to the exact quarter as well as bride's first name and other details. I can find no such marriage using the site.

There might be a problem with the free bmd website its very slow.  I found it before and it came up and I also found Children for her but cant remember there names there was a Taylor born in 1915 with mothers madiam name Dignam I will look during the week and see if the website gets fixed

The site has been working fine for me this evening- goodness knows I've done enough searches for this thread- and a new search for children named Taylor with mother Dignum also gets 0 results.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

If you find possible matches on FreeBMD it would be a good idea to take note of all the details included i.e. name, year/quarter, registration district, volume and page - a) because you will need these to order any certs from GRO UK, and b) so that people can try to help you follow up on these details - e.g. check if the district fits the locations you are interested in etc....
