New Zealand Family History Fair July 2010

New Zealand is holding it's first Family History Fair this July in Hamilton. There will be seminars, exhibitions and genealogical help desks. The 3 day Fair kicks off with a formal opening, dinner and entertainment, from 6pm on Friday 16th July 2010.

Whether you have just started researching your family, or are focused on a particular area of research, or want to get some pointers on where to head next, or maybe you want to see some of the latest resources available.  If so, then the exhibitors, inspiration centre and help desks at this inaugural New Zealand Family History Fair, will be there to assist.

Over Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th July, there will be 44 seminars covering four main areas:

1) Who am I? Getting started…
2) What can I find? Researching Effectively
3) Where is my family?
4) Sharing my past for the future

To confirm your place at one or more seminars you will need to book before 12 June 2010. Door sales will be available on the Saturday and Sunday for the exhibition, inspiration centre and help desk areas, however seats in the seminar areas are limited and are available for sale on the day only IF they haven't sold out before.
