Hi. I am still trying to find information re the burial of Ephraim Mansfield who married Sophia Barnaby in 1869 and after Sophia's death remarried Ellen Asekeller. I can not find any referrence to his death in any record that I have accessed. I really don't know where to turn for help.. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Graham..

noticed from previous posts you have had difficulty with the ASEKELLER surname, is it possible that ASEKELLER is not a surname but the words have run together and it might be , for Ellens' marriage," As E KELLER"?,just a thought.

Hello Leanne and thank you.. I have had the same thought and have tried as many variations of the name Asekeller as I could come up with but with no success.. I cannot find that surname in BDM, records, any telephone book in Australia so it remains a mystery to me.
I also have been led to believe that Ephraim and Ellen were married in 1899 at the Holy Trinity Church Erskinville and I have contacted the church but was told that they do not have records dating back to 1899..
Graham.

Would be really helpful if you had put a link to the previous thread on the subject of Ephraim

May save others hunting for info which has already been posted.
Not sure if you have this link but the dates for Sophia put her much older than Ephraim

Hello Judith.. Yes, I have seen the information that the link you posted shows but unfortunately I cannot access the data re Ephraim Mansfield because, as it says in that link, there are living relatives and I guess because of privacy laws the public cannot read it.
The information I am looking for is purely to find where Ephraim died and/or where he is buried or if he left the country because there just doesn't appear to be a record of what happened to him. He is a mystery to say the least.
