« on: Thursday 27 May 10 16:28 BST (UK) »
Hi Rootschatters

I have a George Bate b abt 1821 in 1841 living with his brother (I think) John Bate  in Warrington Road, Rainhill.
I'm trying to find George in 1851 and 61 but not luck.

I've searched for his death but nothing on freebmd

Any pointers are much appreciated

1851 John Bate and family are still living next door to Richard Swift in Rainhill
John gives p.o.b. as Eccleston

Is this where George was born??

Hi Suz

Yes, George was born in Eccleston too. I had them living together as I had an excel transcription of 1841 of the area and had them at the same road and reference, still could be related though (! I hope)
