Finally been able to find out more about Alexander. He was buried on 11th Aug 1931. The cemetery records show his age as 77/79 - they must not have been too sure either!! Can you possibly suggest which may have been the "best fit" for Alexander Mackenzie of Poolewe with this information please?
If you missed WDYTYA tonight, Paul Hollywoods family were from Poolewe, R & C.
He is descended from "an" Alexander MacKenzie son of Kenneth MacKenzie, Son of Donald MacKenzie so worth a look at in case there's a connection
