The Grand Hotel

Don't know the year, but it was snowing ...  ;)
It was still there in 1921 ....

It was originally the Lonsdale but ended its life as the Grand.

The fire started on the evening of 20 Jan 1940.  The weather was certainly cold as the shell of the building was covered with icicles the following day.

There's something about it here http://www.mywhitehaven.net/bulmers-directory-1901.html
Today I broke my personal record for most consecutive days alive.
