Cawoods of Otley West Yorks

I would be very interested if there is anyone with info on the Cawoods of Otley West Yorks
My G Grandmother was Eliza Thornton b1853 (nee Pollard) and her mother was Emma Pollard ( nee Cawood) b1815.

I wonder whether this could be the baptism of your Emma Cawood at All Saints Parish Church, Otley.

Baptism   25th December 1814  Emma Cawood daughter of Jonathan and Sarah Cawood a Nail Maker, born 26th September.

If you think that this is your Emma Cawood there are baptisms for several siblings if you would like the details.

Please accept my sincere apologies for telling you that I had found baptisms for possible siblings of Emma, I am afraid that I had looked at the wrong baptism records for the other children, their parents were John and Hannah Cawood.

The details I posted for Emma are correct, but I wonder whether she was Jonathan and Sarah's youngest child.  The reason why I say this is that the baptism records which I have begin in 1813 so any older siblings would not appear on the cd which I have.

I do know that Wharfedale Family History Group have also published a cd of Otley Parish Register Births 1753 - 1812  Marriages 1750 - 1812 and Burials 1752 - 1812 so maybe any older siblings which she had may appear on that cd.

The cd can be purchased via their website www.wharfedalefhg.org.uk  Once again please accept my apologies for misleading you.

Two possible older siblings for Emma (from IGI)

Benjamin s/o Jonathan CAWOOD bapt Otley 5 Aug 1798
Abraham s/o Jonathan/Sarah CAWOOD bapt Otley 3 Aug 1800.

There are lots more possible siblings.  On FamilySearch website search for Emma Cawood, bapt 1800 in England.  Click on result and at bottom will appear Code 8510132.  Click on that and a new search option will appear.  Enter Cawood in Surname box and click 'search' to see all the baptisms of that surname for your period of interest.
