I am looking for a Joseph Carr -
the only information I have is that he was a Clerk somewhere in Leicestershire
He had three sons
Joseph had/ran a hotel in Moira
William was also a clerk
Henry a boilermaker who moved to Eastwood in Nottinghamshire
Any help would be much appreciated

How stupid of Me!!!!

Henry Carrr was born about 1812 and married in Eastwood Notts on 19th July 1842

I have complete records of Henry (my direct line) from Henry on.

His marriage certificate notes hi father as Joseph Carr - Clerk.
I have a record of the existence of William and Joseph Jnr in a 'story' written by Henry's son - but he does not give dates or places etc except the very general note that William was a Clerk and Joseph a hotel keeper in Moira neither does he indicate if thy were older or younger than Henry.

I hope this limited information helps!!

Thank you Anne Ashford
