Welch Family Whimbourne Minster

Does anyone have any info on the Welch family of Wimbourne Minster.  My G Grandfather was Frederick Welch b 1831 m Elizabeth P Jeffery from Hampshire. 
Moved to East End London, he was a customs officer.

His father was Frederick also b 1806 m Maria ?

frederick jeffrey welch/welsh bapt 8th april 1831 wimborne minster dorset.parents listed as frederick and maria welch
siblings listed as -
caroline jeffrey welch/welsh bapt 29th sept 1829
samuel robert jeffrey welch/welsh bapt 20th july 1833

looks like father frederick died in 1853
frederick welch died june qtr 1853 wimborne district vol 5a page 219
