My great-great-great grandfather was John Glover Rudd. b. 1815, St. Bees.  His siblings are:

Thomas. b.1813
Glover. b. 1818
Joseph. b. 1821
Isaac. b. 1833


I have their parents as William Rudd and Mary Harrison.

I would love to have any info on them such as census records. etc.

note that the son Anthony is now a stepson....his surname may help in finding the marriage of his parents,,,but having looked at the original scan,,his surname may be eldean,,or even something else...maybe other rootschatters could give  their opinion.

Hi Gortonboy,

You have been a busy bee.  Small contribution Joseph Rudd was buried at Egremont Cemetery 10/7/1890. Age 68. Section F Uncon 115 and Sarah 17/3/1892. Age 64 years. F Uncon 145 Both had lived at Smithfield.  :(

Isaac Rudd born 30 June 1833 is also buried at Egremont Cemetery.
Section H Con Grave 358 16th Oct 1870.  :(

Isaac RUDD was both my Great (Daughter married Henry BOWES) and Great Great (daughter married Edward PULLIN).  Does anyone know what he died from at 37? Or the surname of his wife Esther, born at Gosforth.  Esther married Christopher TYSON after Isaac's death
