Black Boy Inn
« on: Saturday 22 May 10 08:14 BST (UK) »
Can anyone tell me more about the family of Jordans who ran this Inn in the 1830's onwards?
It is situated I believe on the A405, at Bricket Wood
Thanks   Marton, also, are there any pictures other than those on the present day pub site.

many thanks, I hope somehow to find the Jordans, I'll trawl the census returns, I'm thinking they might come under Kings Langley?

Thanks Clare, our family has a long line of Jordans originating from Kings and Abbots Langley.I have a warming pan which has the stong reputation of belonging to a family member who lived at the B.B.,  dealer but when ?Our line  went to Marsworth in the early 1800's  and I am trying to prove a link
If any one else is researching the Jordans I would be pleased to hear
