Black Boy Inn

Can anyone tell me more about the family of Jordans who ran this Inn in the 1830's onwards?
It is situated I believe on the A405, at Bricket Wood

Hope this helps. The Black boy inn is on the old Watford Road which runs adjacent to the A405. I know as it is my old mans local!

Thanks Clare, our family has a long line of Jordans originating from Kings and Abbots Langley.I have a warming pan which has the stong reputation of belonging to a family member who lived at the B.B.,  dealer but when ?Our line  went to Marsworth in the early 1800's  and I am trying to prove a link
If any one else is researching the Jordans I would be pleased to hear
