Hansen Korsor, Denmark

I finally got a correct name for my Grandfather and a birthdate but still cannot locate him in any records.  Any help please.

Hans Henry Valdemar Hansen born Jan 6, 1904 we believe it was in Korsor Denmark.  He was from a family of 10 children and came to the US in his teen years.  Ended up in Brooklyn, New York and married Emily Parola in 1929.

You have probably read earlier posts on Rootschat re Danish research. Register on the Danish State archives site http://www.arkivalieronline.dk/ and find your way to search parish registers - "søg i kirkebøger". In the box  marked Amt, enter "Søro", for Herred choose "Alle", and in the third box scroll down to "Korsør Skt Povl". The 3rd last choice in the table that appears is the births register for 1902-1910. Click on that. Then on the bar down the side of the page click "Opslag 35". On that page you will find the birth and baptism of Hans Henry Valdemar Hansen.
His parents are Hans Carl Hansen, Day labourer, and Kristina Sofie Christiansen aged 38, housewife.

When I had a bit more time I translated the birth record as best I could.

Hans Henry Valdemar Hansen was b. at Halskovej 63, Korsør [You can find that street on Google maps, to the N. of the main part of Korsør] His mother was aged 38, from Halskov. He was baptised in the church by Curate Hansen on Apr. 10 1904. Witnesses were the child's mother; House-owner Hans Petersen H___?;
Arb___?[I think this is his occupation, but can't make it out] Claus Larsen; and the child's father. All of Halskov.

Hi Isabel,
I just wanted to let you know that because you were able to find the names of my great grandparents, I was able to locate the siblings of my grandfather on the 1901, 1906, 1911 and 1916 Census Forms.  You have no idea how much this means to me.  I tried to look them up on two more Census Forms after 1916 but it seems that Halskovej 63 is missing on both.  You really helped me so much.  Now I have lots of information that I need to continue to research.  Just one question, do you know where I can find death records?

The Danish Kirkebøger include death records - Døde.  From the page aghadowey mentioned, http://www.arkivalieronline.dk/English/default.aspx click on the Generic Instructions button. If you need it there is very detailed help there on how to register on the site, how to access the records, and translations of many Danish terms.
