findmypast has details of emigrants to Australia up to 1960.
There is a Roe family on the list, left London 16/2/1960. Father James was a doctor. There is a 3 year old Janet but no Lyn and this family were from Retford, so probably not the ones you are looking for!!!!!

Beeston, Whithead & Towle
Allesley, Bloxham from c. 1815
Foleshill, Gee (Jee) Adams Millerchip
Burton Dassett, Bloxham to c. 1815

Hi Bernie,

I have moved your query to the Australia board where I hope it will get more attention  :)

Please be very careful not to name persons who may still be living.  This is a Rootschat policy.

Modern passenger lists and immigrant files are kept at the National Archives of Australia.  You can read about the records online, and then contact them for more information:

Cheers
Prue

Try a search (as a Guest) on http://naa12.naa.gov.au/Login.htm

There are 2 Roe families with a Janet, no Lyn though.
