Well it's back on but not working properly, the "find a person in this tree" function isn't working and from the overview page you can access parents but not spouses or children  ::)

Stockton, Watson, Bage, Nellist N. Yorks

Mine seems to be working okay  :D

I would have been ever so sad if they had lost my trees though.

Funny how angry some people got when they couldn't access their trees for a day.

I think the chances of Ancestry losing your tree is so slight, it's not worth worrying about - these organisations keep several backups, in more than one location.  If the loss of access causes anyone a lot of inconvenience, then they should consider purchasing a copy of Family Tree Maker, so they can keep a local copy of what they have on Ancestry  :)

No point getting angry.  It is frustrating but it was only one day.  Some of the comments made, made me smile.  The rest of the site was working ok :)

I have FTM which I find really good :)

And me. 1 extra day.

I dont use a GEDCOM for my tree I just add info to it as I find it. I have a PAF but for Ancestry I started a new tree from scratch.
