Phillip Thomas Burial

Hello

I have a death in BMD for a Phillip Thomas aged 31 in Carmarthen c1893 and wondering whether anyone have a burial record please? This is a request for a 3rd party and we don't know where he lived or even if it is definitely the right Phillip!

Our Phillip had a daughter Annie Jane who was 25 in 1911 (in Llanedi Parish). He was widowed when she was a baby and died when she was about 7.

Sorry I don't have more information about Phllip or his wife. (We know the details of his daughter from 1911 onwards)

Where does it say Annie  was born in the 1911 census  ? Can have  alook in the 1891 census to try to find her with her Father then we'll have more to go on then

And i guess they got Phillips name off Annies marriage cert what was his occupation ?

the marriage certificate says Phillip was deceased.

We think Annie Jane was born in Carmarthen in 1885 (Sep Q)

She was age 24 in Llannon Parish Llanelly Carmarthenshire in 1911

I cannot find a definate match on the 1891 ,Think they will have to send for Annies birth cert for more details and then look again.Doesnt the 1911 give a birthplace for Annie or do they just think she was born in  Carmarthen?

The problem is the sheer number of girls called Annie Thomas! I don't have access to 1911 but was given the ref RD596 SD5 ED9 (Llanedy) and Annie Jane Thomas a servant born Carmarthen.

Llandilotalybont is a nearby Parish - could Philip be there in 1891 please?

There don't seem to be many deaths in Carmarthenshire/Glamorganshire of young-ish men called Phillip Thomas 1891-1901 so that's why the 1893 death at Carmarthen looks promising.

Update - Phillip Thomas was a Coal Miner Hewer (deceased) on Annie's marriage cert.

Annie Jane Thomas born 1888 Llanelly - father's name was not Phillip
Phillip Thomas died Carmarthen 1893 age 31 was not a Coal Miner Hewer

1891 Census Phillip Thomas at Llandilo Talybont is described as married but living with widowed mother and sister, and no sign of wife, but no sign of daughter Annie either.

Update:

Death of Philip Thomas Llandilofawr 1889 (Sep Q) age 33.

He would be buried with his wife Ann(e) who died age 21 in 1886 (Dec Q)

Her parents Daniel and Mary Owen lived near Tycroes in Llanedy Parish. Daniel was a blacksmith. They are covered on another thread:

Came across your query and by chance have been recently in touch with an ancestor of Philip Thomas and Anne Owens on GenesReunited.
Daughter Annie J Thomas b 1888 d 1965 and married Granvill Morris b 1890, d 1968.
Cannot give you later details of living relatives but could give you contact details of source off chatroom..
Anne Owens b 1865 was daughter of Daniel Owens b 1838, Blacksmith and Mary Pryce b 1833 Llanedy and daughter of Richard Pryce 1801-1859 and Hannah Rogers 1804-1870 both of Llanedy and in 1841 was living at the 'Royal Oak Inn'.
The Pryce family were a prominent family of Llanedy, living at Erw Wastod and Plas Newydd with ancestors marrying into the Vaughan's of Place Gwynn, Penry's and Seys of Boverton, Glam.
My wife is a descendant of the Pryce family through Richard Seys Pryce 1769-1855, Excise Officer who died at Pontardulais.
