Henry's father was Mark Whitmarsh (1805-1899) and his mother was Harriet (1805abt-1875). As far as I know, he had seven siblings. He married Emily Rideout in 1862 and they had 9 children.

Where do you fit into this family? It would be helpful to know.

I have Mark Whitmarsh (1805 - ?) married to Harriet Pitman 11 November 1824 Tarrant Monkton.  Henry Whitmarsh had various siblings Jean b.1827, William b.1829, Robert b.1832, Charles b.1834, Henry b.1836 and Susannah b.1838.  Mark Whitmarsh is the son of James Whitmarsh (1780-1857) and Susannah New (1780-1847) m 14 October 1804 Pimperne, James Whitmarsh is the son of John Whitmarsh (1741-1819) and Elizabeth Flippen (1737-1816) m. 16 August 1768 in Tarrant Gunville.  John Whitmarsh and Elizabeth Flippen are my 5x gr grandparents through their daughter Elizabeth.  I have various details therefore of the ancestry of this family.

From my research John Whitmarsh is the son of Ambrose Whitmarsh and Sarah Galler married Cann Dorset 3 February 1735 - however I have so far not been able to go further back so any help would appreciated.
