Rosina Bennett/Lowe/Hopkins/Bayliss. Parents George Bennett and Jane Lowe.

I/m trying to find history on My great, great Grandmother, Rosina Bennett. Her details are quite a mystery. Birth Certificate shows her as born on 12th April 1880. Parents, George Bennet and Jane Lowe. Throughout her life she swapped and changed and maiden name on paperwork with both these surnames.
She married William Hopkins, who was born in Walsall 1871 and had 9 children that I know of. She left this family later in life and married Sydney Bayliss, and apparently had a further 2 children with him.

I'm new to searching the family tree, and if anyone has any information on an of the above names mentioned, I would appreciate hearing about it.

Rosina was born in Wrockwardine Wood, Shropshire. And most of the history of the above people is also thought to be living in this area.

I have a Jane Lowe born 1842 living with her Father James Lowe born 1800 also a William Bennett Lowe 1864 most likely Janes son James was my Gr8 Grandfather x 4 the above was from the 1871 cencus most of the Lowe's originated from the Lilleshall {Donnington Wood/Wrockwardine Wood} area.
Also in 1901 living with George Lowe in Ketley Brook {my great Grandfather}
was  Uncle George Bennett age 57 Puddler at Iron works.
I hope this is some help funny enough my ex wife was a Bennett.

I realise this is an old post but you say Rosina was b 12.4.1880 in Shropshire.

I have checked freebmd for birth registrations under Bennett and Lowe but nothing is showing in either the June or September quarters of 1880

What surname was her birth registered under?

She married William Hopkins in 1900 as Rosina Lowe.  1901 entry confirms birthplace as Wrockwardine

No marriage for parents.  Are you sure you have her birth cert and not her baptismal entry?

Hi Rosina/Rosena is shown as Rose in 1891 b 1883 Wrockwarden Wood, George b 1845 and Jane 1845 Snedshill, in 1881 we have:-

George Bennett 37 b Snedshill
Jane Lowe 37 occ Servant b Donington
Margt A Lowe 4 Sister? b Bilston, Staffordshire
Residing as 1891 at Cross Street, Wrockwarden

So Rosina could not have been born in 1880 as shown otherwise she would be on the 1881 entry.  Doesn't look as though parents married which may be why she used the surname Lowe

It also looks like the Margaret A Lowe aged 4 b Bilston was also possibly registered as a Bennett:-
