Hi Dragon
Have you tried looking in the archives of the local newspapers. They should have material from the 50's.  I have been looking at my local papers archives for 1908.  Also there should be someone living in that area who remembers the story as its not too long ago. Hope you find it soon

Why not try the Electrol Rolls for the years you mention ?   You have the name of the road she lived in.    This way you should be able to spot whether you have the correct spelling of the name.

The Rolls are held at the London Metropolitan Archives.

Hi

There are no death registrations in Lambeth registration district for anyone with the surname Finken between 1951-1960 - or anything close to that spelling.

I think you need to ascertain her actual surname was Finken before you can really successful search any records for her death.

Hi

Surrey North West covered

Bisley, Byfleet, Chertsey, Chobham. Egham, Frimley, Horsell, Pyrford, Thorpe, Walton-on-Thames, West End, Weybridge, Windlesham, Woking

The nearest would probably be around 20 miles away from Lambeth in south east London.
