Hi Mort and Mickleover,

Are you related to this family? Have you found any more about them?

Thanks

Linda

Linda,

No, I'm not related. I'm just trying to find 'my' Henry Hepworth by eliminating possibles one by one.

Hi Mickleover,

Thanks for your reply.

Yes it looks like we have different Henry Hepworths. I tried to find your Henry John, but couldn't find a lot about him. Did he marry the mother of the children? Is she Jane Dibb? I found a marriage for a son Joseph Henry Dibb Hepworth in 1884 to Faith Hunt. From FindMyPast father Henry Hepworth. Image should be on ancestry.(1 don't have access to ancestry at the moment).

What was the address in Manchester on childrens birth certificates?

Regards

Linda

Linda,

Yes the mother was Jane Dibb. I have the birth certificates for Annie (1864, in Lilley Street, Ancoats) and Joseph (1865 in Cross Court, Greengate, Salford). Annie was baptised at Manchester cathedral. I also have the marriage certificate for Joseph (1884).

Jane married James Tomlinson precisely three months after the birth of her son Joseph and again I have the certificate.

Regards,

Ian
