Hi,
I am really new to this, but having a great time, I found these records last night which may be of help to newbys like me, they are the entries made in parish records for Boatmen in Wolverhampton that are held in the Wolverhampton archives. I hope they help, I found my great great grandfathers name in there and a missing child.

Thanks Jacky

I just had a look but couldn't find the Bate or Bates I was searching for, but I have saved the links as I imagine they will come in very handy.

Regards

Laurette

hello
you must be connected to the lady looking for wood family as a lot of wood & hollingshead come from penkridge. thomas jenkins hollingshead married mary wood all their children born in Tunstall. so you seem to have connections with  jenkinson ,jinks, bunn, fradly, wenlock.james all canal boatmen also linked to names in my tree nixon, bannister, wood, green also all canal boatmen.
