Rose Agnes Bagley California 1920
« on: Thursday 13 May 10 20:00 BST (UK) »
Can anyone help track a marriage for this lady in California. She was born in Illinois in 1910, father Alexander, mother Jennie McElligott. She doesn't appear in the death indexes but I'm thinking its a very small chance she's still living. Any help would be appreciated if only to say, yes she is still living.

Hello dhhound.

Unfortunately the California Marriage does'nt cover the time-frame which you need - The California Marriage Index only covers 1850 - 1877. Can plainly see her on all 3 available census but nothing else at the moment.  :(

She shows up in the California voter registrations in Los Angeles in 1932 & 1934, but I don't see her beyond that.

Thanks shellyesq. Good chance then that she married and so would show up under her married name in future, or moved out of state.

It looks like Rose's sister and Rose's mother are on the California death index with death dates in 1941 and 1946, respectively.  Maybe an obituary for one of them would have a married name or location for Rose.

I've tried that through Ancestry and got nowhere. Any suggestions for a better way, thank you

Have you made contact with the other anc..try tree that has the family listed, they may be able to throw some light on the possible living person.  ???
