When we visited Dundee my Father always remarked on how he was on board a ship anchored in the bay. He called it the 'borstal ship' but I am wondering if this is also the Mars Training ship.

There is a great web site called 'sons of the Mars'
http://www.rootsmon.net/mars/
It is a voluntary group who are trying to save the sister ship 'The Unicorn', which is still moored in Dundee. All the 'naughty boys' who made it through the Mars went on to join the Unicorn.
Hope that helps
