Hi
could someone please look up the marriage date of Thomas Blundell and Ann ?? in either Ormskirk or Widnes. Think they would have married about 1860 to 1865 as their first child was born 1865.

cheers mrs scouser

Hi Mrsscouser,

If you search FreeBMD (www.freebmd.org.uk) for a marriage of Thomas Blundell to Ann ,there are several possibilities unfortunately ...

With Ann being from St Helens, this could be a match:

Mar 1864 Prescot 8b 853
Thomas Blundell to possibly Ann Baron

There's also one in Ormskirk though, Jun 1865 8b 925
Thomas Blundell - Ann Croston

A birth cert for one of the children would confirm her maiden name.

Mrs Scouser.

What was the name of Thomas & Anns first born?

There are loads of BLUNDELLS (Born 1865) on Lancashire BDM (some give the Mothers Maiden name).
Hertzberger, Highton, Walker, Eaton, Webster, Brown, Wright, Speed, Dodd, Holland, Melling, Murphy, Edwards, Bennett, Collins, Critchley, Duffy, Owens, Morgan & Humphreys

If I'm looking at the right family, there's

Charles ca. 1866, Henry ca. 1868 and Catharine 1870, all born Widnes

their first born was Charles, followed by Henry born 1868, Catherine born 1871, Sarah Ann born 1874, Jane born 1876 and John born 1878.
It appears that Thomas died in 1888 and Ann died in 1885.

cheers folks
