A census place of birth is recorded as Derbyshire Birkhallam
Does anyone know where this place is please

Could well be that the enumerator couldn't read the householder's handwriting! Never heard of Birkhallam, but there's a Kirkhallam just outside Ilkeston - could this be the right place?
