Posting an image is dead easy.
1. Hit "Reply". This opens a dialogue box in which you type your message.
2. Under the dialogue box there is a blue line that says "Attach a photograph or image". Click it.
3. Two lines with Browse buttons open. Hit the Browse button on the first line.
4. A window with thumbnails of all your photos will open. Select the photo you want to attach, and double-click it.
5. Click on the blue "Post" button at the bottom.
There is a 500kb size limit on photos, and each file has to have a unique name, or the website thinks the picture is already posted and won't do it again. So a photo with a filename like "Dad" is unlikely to post successfully. But a unique name like "Dad_at_home_1937" probably will.
If you are getting an error message you have to tell us what it says....because it is telling you why your photo won't post.
