Hi there
I am writing the life story of Ernest Osborn who left a manuscript of his life and times.
He died in 2011 in Victoria Australia. Ernest is the son of Bertram Percival Osborn and Mable Florence. He was born 1917.
Brothers & Sisters: Walter Percy - Ivy Florence - Lillian Ada and Bertram William. His grandfather was Bertram mother Mary Ann ( see 1881 Bertrin Astrum) weird.!
There is a great deal in the manuscript about his brothers and sisters and growing up in Bromley.
A wonderful story . His wife Olive is still alive, she is my 2nd cousin.  Ernest gave me away at my wedding - they are a great family. If I can be of further help please let me know. He wrote about his fathers siblings, especially his aunt Ada he mentions that George was a ''in service  in one of those big houses.''

Bertram (Bertie) born 1879 died 27th Feb 1937 Bromley. Married Mable Florence Lucas.
She walked out on  the family abt 1920.( re-married).
Children Bertram William 1901 - Lillian Ada 1902 Ivy - Florence 1905 - Walter Percy - 1909 Nellie
Marjory 1913 and Ernest Ernie, who married my second cousin and died 2011.
Is this the side you are looking for. The 1881 census has their name incorrectly spelt,. If you contact me via email I can give you Bertram's father George etc. I would love to know where you fit in.
Regards
Hildi
