Inverkeithing Deeds 1716-1884

 Hello everyone.
On the Fife Family History site  http://www.fifefhs.org/Records/Deeds/inverkeithing.htm ,  when searching for family name LOVE I came across these entries. I'm pretty sure they are part of my lot and wondered where I could go for more information. I have emailed the  Fife Family history society but they do not reply. (see other post)

LOVE, JAMES jnr: labourer in Inv, m to Janet Edwards; and the Town Council of Inv; Contract betwixt; 19 Feb 1831 [B34/8/1 folio 136-39; B34/15/28]

LOVE, JAMES: labourer, Inv; Trust Disp & Settlement to Trustees for spouse, Janet Edwards, and son, Francis Love, labourer in Inv (whom failing to his other children, not named); 23 March 1881 [B34/8/2 folio 13-15; B34/15/50]
Scotland:
Fife: Love, Pryde, Edward, Morgan, Smith, Reedy, Wilson
Renfrew: Nicol, Alexander, Hamilton, Cochran
Cornwall: Verran/Verron; Eslick; Penhaluwrick
England: Allsopp, Leman, Lockett, Clulow
Estonia: Sokk; Rebbane; Oja;

Dunfermline city chambers have a genealogy department they might be helpfull

or i could pop down to our local libray they hold census records for the whole of fife

what sort of information are you looking for ?

Hi Jette and thanks for the reply. I'll send an email to the Council and see what they have.

I guess I'd just like to see what the contract was for (1st one) and the detail of the 2nd.

There are a couple of odd things with the descendants of this family which might be clarified.

Thanks for offer re census but  have fairly complete census docs for them from 1841 - from Scotland's people.

Hi,
     I don't know what is happening at Fife Family History, other than my cousin Walter Pryde a committee member,died and his wife was secretary.
  Now, I research Prydes world wide and have a Henry Love, b. abt 1829 Inverkeithing. marr. Euphemia Pryde 1855 then went on to have 12 kids. I am related to them thro' Andrew Pryde/Mary Smith. If I can be of any help please let me know, I am in regular contact with many from this line, even in Oz, and live in Fife,

Hi,Just renewing my family history interest and saw your ref. to a Francis Love.Was Francis married to Anne Jane Love nee Doyle?Did they have a daughter named Annie who marriedThomas Patrick(surname) 0n 1934?
