Re Arvo Lancaster PB253 576 Squadron Crashed Epinal 28 July 1944
I am  theDaughter of F/O James Archibald He survived the crash and was hidden for two weeks when because of  the extent of his injuries he became a pow He was in a Paris Hospital during the liberation and was returned to UK and was mustered out as unfit He was flown to NZ via a special flight  which is probably why you couldnt find him Please contact me further info
