Could do with an RAOGK volunteer but I can't see one in Scranton or Lackawanna. Wonder if a local library would do a look up for. You roughly know the dates of death for Edward and Ellen Jackson. - could be worth an e-mail  ???

Maybe this link unless someone can give you something better.

Can't find any suitable WW2 Draft or Enlistment records for Leo or John.  ???

Sent some more up to date information on one of the daughters of Helen and Donald Gibbons. Not having any further luck trying to trace obituaries for Edward and Ellen Jackson    :(

Old post but just in case...I'm in Dunmore where the McGoldrick/Jackson family lived. Related thru the McGoldrick line. Really have nothing on the Jackson line (of course, now I will as I'll do some quite compulsive look ups) but let me know if I can help.
edit: 18509 is mostly Dunmore, not Scranton.

Nice to hear from you.  I  now know that Edward Jackson married Mary McGoldrick - your line.  My relative was Ellen Regan mother of Edward Jackson.  She was Irish and came from Co Mayo.  My aunt would have known your relative as she emigrated to America and stayed with the Jacksons in Scranton. I don’t know for sure who the children of Edward and Mary were or if there are any descendants around today.

I would appreciate some help - perhaps I could help you as I do have lots of other info to do with the Jacksons.
