« on: Sunday 02 May 10 14:18 BST (UK) »
Looking for info on Thomas Dickson born 1882 approx Coldstream, Berwickshire, Scotland. Parents George Dickson and Ellen Matthews. In 1911 he first entered Canada and was on the 1911 census as a single man. Sometime between 1911 and 1924 he married person unknown and was also widowed. He travelled back to Edinburgh Scotland and married 2nd wife Wilhelmina (Minnie) Wilson in 1924. Her mother was Mary Wilson, subsequently Curran, maiden name McKay. Then he returned to 2833 26th A Street Calgary with his 2nd wife. Looking to find any info of first wife and any children there may have been and if he had any children with Wilhelmina, and also deaths of all.
Bloodworth (Helpston, Northants), McKay (Swinton, Berwickshire, Edinburgh. Lincs, Notts) Curran (Coldstream, Inverness, Edinburgh), Young (Edinburgh), Sinclair (Edinburgh)

Alberta is not genealogy friendly.  They have no online databases to search for marriages.
This link gives you the Henderson Directories.

In 1929 Thos. Dickson is at 2833 26A St W. Calgary, cement finisher for Hughes and Hurst.  Don't see him in 1930.

Thomas and Minnie travelled back to Canada on the Montclare sailing 15 Feb 1924.  Her Form 30A states she had never been in Canada.

Wilhelmina Dickson, 34, going to husband Thos. Dickson at 1033 26A St. W. Calgary with mother Mrs. Mary Curran 10 Duke St. Coldstream sailed on the Melita from Glasgow to Quebec arriving 3 Sep 1927.  Her record states she had been in Canada 1913-1926.  Perhaps confusing the dates her husband had been in Canada?

There is a death in Cranbrook for Wilhelmina Dickson.  Dates don't exactly line up for age but it might be worth asking this board for a lookup to see if it is your Wilhelmina.
