There is a Charles Hawker WILSON died 1920 but do not see a Minnie HAWKER around 1925

I have found the marriage.

Have found Harriet Maria WILSON buried at Purewa Cemetery

She died 13/7/1925

Her husband Charles Hawker WILSON is buried at Buffalo Cemetery, Coromandel. There is a M/I for him but someone would need to check and see what it says

I only have a news article to go by DATED 15/8/1925 The Argus. WILSON nee HICKSON At her residence  Remuera NZ. Widow of late Hawker WILSON and mother of Francie, Mrs Macdonald, of NZ and the aunt of Mrs Bert Royals of Adelaide and Mrs Reg Watson of Reservoir.

Can anyone find out who Mrs Macdonald is?

Mrs Bert Royals is one of my relatives and I'm trying to work out how the all fit in. Mrs Bert Royals is Hilda Burwood STANFORD. later ROYALS and then interestingly enough PETROFF.  She became a PETROFF  in 1922. It seems that the people who submitted the article were unaware of her new marriage.

I'm trying to find out how Mrs Bert Royals is related to Minnie Wilson.

Also interesting that it was in a Melbourne paper and not a NZ one that the death notice was given. I couldn't find a death notice in a NZ paper.

Does anyone know where Reservoir is? Is it in NZ?

There is a birth of a Francis Hawken WILSON born to 1895 to Harriet Maria and Charles Hawken WILSON

Reg no. 1895/16280

Marriage: 1916 Reg no 1916/827
Frances Hawker WILSON to Frederick Augustus MacDONALD

Frances was cremated at Purewa Cemetery. Date of death 3/10/1986

There is a Reservoir in Victoria.  It is a suburb of Melbourne.

Thanks for your help everyone. It seems that Hilda is not related to Minnie. Perhaps they were close family friends and who ever put the article in the paper thought they were related.
