I would like to receive info on my grandfather Robert Weir Marshall. He was born in Glasgow (do not know date) and married Betsy Low Napier Lawson who was born in Montrose on 01.04.1882. They moved to South Africa and were married in 1903.

Did they marry first then emigrate or vice versa?

If they married in Scotland - you can lookup their marriage on Scotlands People which will give you the names of both sets of parents plus their mothers maiden names

There is this 1891 entry for 248 Paisley Rd Glasgow.  All b Montrose Forfarshire except Margaret

The 1891 has 20 entries for Robert Marshall born 1878-1882 and living in Lanarkshire.  15 were born in Lanark and the others elsewhere.  None had a middle initial W so it is impossible to determine the right family without knowing his birthyear and his parents names
