sheehan death in cardiff 1890's

anyone know Where I can look for info on an ancestor (surname Sheehan) who drowned in cardiff as a boy some time in 1890's. I can find no record on 1891 or 1901 census so he must have been born and died within those years, but I cant find it on the BMD index either.....where else can I look? thanks

possibly Daniel, but not sure, born some time between the censuses of 1891 and 1901, siblings were William, michael, stephen, mary, catherine sheehan,.....

how certain are you about the date (and name)

Freebmd has the following in Cardiff

Birth - Thomas Sheehan Mar qtr 1883 ref 11a 267

Deaths - Thomas Sheeham  age 5 Jun qtr 1888 11a 170.

But that would be 1880s rather than 1890s - is that too early for the family ?
Jones, Davies, Evans, Williams, Daniel, Thomas - Glamorgan
Keen, Goodwin, Pyatt, Leese, Bailey, Loffill, Stubley, Brassington, Blurton,  - Staffs

There is a 4yr old John Sheehan on freebmd - December qtr 1902.  1901 shows parents Jeremiah & Mary

Who were his parents?
