Family name Bruadar

I have found my great great great grandmother, Mary Bruadar, born in Cork, and married to John Dorgan in 1827 in Blarney parish.  I am not familiar with the name Bruadar which, I found, is a varient of Brudar.  Is Bruadar a common name in Cork, and how is it pronounced?  Any help is much appreciated.  John and Mary, and two daughters, Abigail and Mary emigrated to New York in 1842. They were lifelong residents of the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn.

The name Bruadar and it's variants Broder/Brodir/Bruadair is quite unusual in Cork nowadays. There is a Bakery called Brudairs which has several outlets in the North Cork area today. Apparently the name has changed to Broderick over the years and that is quite a common name in Ireland.
I would say it's pronounced with the emphasis on the U, Brew-a-dar, but open to correction on that.

Srangley enough I was researching the origins of my wife's family name, Brothers, and there was a suggestion that it came from the Irish name of Bruadar

That's wonderful information, thanks so much. I didn't expect such a quick reply. Broderick was one of the names I thought might have come from Bruadar. Perhaps I will have to try to locate  the Brudair bakery in northern Cork.

Thanks also for the reply about the name Brothers; possibly another from the root Bruadar. That's interesing, and makes for another option to explore.  In genealogy I find that one discovery seems to lead to another question. Thanks for your interest and assistance.
