No, sorry Nadine, I haven't come across any Harris connections in Blaina.  The William Harris discussed above was a coal miner but moved to Monmouthshire from Pembrokeshire in the 1860's.

Hi came across your post, I have Harris conection Monmouthshire and have done DNA, Rees comes out alot as do other names mentioned my direct Harris line moves to Glamorgan and talybont on usk is this same family or different

Yes all, and there's a definite German Romany connection to for example miller's and Reinhardt various spellings

Howells are close related, web ward and Wyatt come out in DNA matches also Elliot, young and many more
