William and Mary Taylor
« on: Friday 23 April 10 17:15 BST (UK) »
Hi,

I am after help finding William Taylor and Mary Nesbitt. They married in belfast in 1913 and according to the marriage certificate his father was Francis Taylor and her father was James Nesbitt. Francis Taylor was married to Jane Nesbitt (not a relative of Mary Nesbitt!) and Jane later married a John Croft.

William had 2 brothers, Francis Taylor who was born in 1884 and John Taylor who died in 1915 in WW1. Francis Taylor married Elizabeth Woods in 1910.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Oliver

Welcome to Rootschat. Not sure exactly what you are looking for (very little post-1911 N.I. information will probably be available online) but have you found all, or any, of these people in 1911 census? Once you've found them in 1911 and have an idea of birthdates and places you can work back through other records such as civil registration index.

Taking the first one- James Nesbitt and family in 1911 census. Wife's name Rachel and married 21 years so c1890. 7 children listed, 2 more still alive (but living elsewhere) and 2 died before 1911.
1901 census is supposed to come online by mid-2010 and you might find more of the children in it.

Hi, I was wondering if anyone had any information on Francis Taylor & Jane Wilkiinson, they are the mother and father of William Taylor. William was born at 29 fourth street, Belfast in 1983 1893.

Regards Sue
