Hello

I ordered 6 on the 25th March  despatched date 31st.

3 were  despatched  on the 8th April arrived here in Western Australia 16th April. Hoping for the other three soon.

I actually ordered more than 50 certs when I heard about the price increase.  Luckily, my father is investing in the genealogical pursuit!

just little update to my earlier posting i received mine to-day sat 17th april order 31st march despached date given was the 8th april i suppose not to bad considering easter holidays and the rush before price increase incidently they charged me the new price for my order on the 31st march but they have given me refund of the difference

I've had my 30 plus certs I ordered for a few weeks now as I got them all from Local Register Offices & not the GRO.

As they came before the price increase the new leads allowed me to order further certs still at £7.00.

As well as the 50+ that I ordered from the GRO, I ordered a stack from the Kendal Register Office--which arrived in less than a week (and I live in the US!)

I have just watched a news item on TV and it was about airmail post having to be sent by train to Spain so it can then be flown out to the USA.

Presumably this will apply to other Countries that post from UK goes by plane
as well.

Three of mine ordered 28 March - estimated dispatch date of 6 April - arrived 17 April. No complaints about that really.
