Just arrived home. Mail been delivered but no certs
How many times have I also gone through that scenario as well? I come home from work and hope my mum has left my some GRO resembling letters on my bed.
When the certs used to be in those big envelopes I was awaiting one and when the post came I picked it up and there was a letter the size of a GRO letter, and I got all excited and it was addressed to me but it was about car insurance so I threw it down on the table and didn't open it. Finding an ancestors biographical details seems to be more important that sorting out car insurance amongst us genealogists.
