I got one today also dated 8th ... when it was supposed to be dispatched 30th March !   

AND its a correct cert for a person I wanted ... but its thrown all sorts of spanners in the works ... as well as money spent at the NA on the wrong person !!

I am just glad mine finally arrived today. i almost screamed in triumph when I saw 4 letters addressed to me when I got home from work. All from the GRO. 3 deaths and 1 marriage. 1883, 1900, 1915 and the marriage in 1845.

BTW this is my 2000th post.  :D

I ordered certs on the 31st march on line and despatch date was 9th.  No sign of them yet! Of course weekends are n't working days to some!

I placed an order on the 30th March and I worked out that there was almost no chance of seeing them in less than 2 weeks even though the dispatch date was the 7th. It hasn't stopped me looking hopefully at the postman the last couple of mornings.
