I think generally, from my last order, and other posts here, the certs seem to be arriving 11-12 days after the estimated despatch date given. I'm therefore expecting my 9th April ones on Tuesday or Wednesday, so hopefully angel fish and patrish yours should come in next day or so also.

I ordered 2 death certs on 31st March.  One of them arrived today, accompanied by a white (not purple) sheet of paper headed Identity and Passport Service.  Has the system been changed too I wonder?
Today I broke my personal record for most consecutive days alive.

OK :)

Anyway, the form that came with the Cert was totally different, as was the colour.

Incidentally, there had been over 26,000 orders between my order on the 24th and that on the 31st.

Also, I only received order confirmation on 24th March but not on 26th and 31st.
Today I broke my personal record for most consecutive days alive.

Post arrived - sounded promising.  2 envelopes on mat: right size, WRONG sender :'(

I did received a phone call about an hour ago from Lancashire certificate services so knew that 2 wouldn't be arriving.  Apparently those I ordered on-line 5 April are outside the local area so not held at Preston after all  but at Sefton North (local authority for Southport for those who don't know the area.  Pre 1974 Southport was IN Lancs) so they will have to refund my money.  I can either order by post from Sefton or on-line from GRO.   Whichever I decide it's going to be another wait :-X

The ones I ordered from GRO 1 April are taking their time!  If not received this week I shall get very angry  >:(
You won't like me when I'm  >:(  .    Someone said that once didn't they?    Strange things happened to him I believe :D

There was some kerfuffle on the 31st, when I placed my order I was charged the new price and only got the payment e-mail, not the order confirmation. I then recieved another e-mail stating there'd been a system error and my money had been refunded. I then re-ordered normally. Guy Etchells said that GRO had been testing while the site was live and that's why I'd been charged the new rate.
