MIs look-ups Church Gresley & Newhall

Hi all, I'm after Monumental Inscriptions for 2 people.  While I cannot see anyone offering look-ups at these places, just fingers-crossed that they are available & someone may have access to them.

First look-up for William is to see if his wife Mary nee White (or anyone else) is buried with him, although I cannot see a reference to this anywhere.

William Taylor aged 42, buried 04 December 1816, St George & St Mary's Church, Church Gresley

Second look-up is for Mary if she isn't with William above.  This because it is only burial I can see in the area that 'fits' Mary's age from 1841 census of 68 (how I can prove this Mary is William's wife & why she wouldn't be buried with William are more problems for another day).

Mary Taylor aged 76, buried 23 October 1849, St John's Church, Newhall

Hi Luke, I had forgotten all about this till you answered, it was a long time ago!

So thanks for your reply, because it made me review my findings so far. I now have a theory as to why Mary Taylor nee White wasn’t buried with her husband William Taylor in Church Gresley, but I need information from St George and St Mary’s Church to confirm / disprove this. I have messaged the church and depending on their response, I might need to take up your offer of help with local information.

What is your lineage to William Taylor & Mary White?

Mine is:- William & Mary are my Great-great-great-great-grandparents
Their daughter Sarah Taylor (ch.27 Sep 1807) married John Rhodes (my Great-great-great-grandparents)
Their son Henry Rhodes (ch.5 Jun 1836) married Elizabeth Reynolds (my Great-great-grandparents)
Their daughter Alice Rhodes (born 3 Mar 1864) married George Day (my Great-grandparents)
Their son George Day married my Granny

Will let you know if church answers and what conclusion (if any) I can formulate from their response. Regards, Tony.

Hi Tony,

My great grandmother Lily's maiden name was Taylor. The line then goes:

William Taylor 1849, John Taylor 1829, William Taylor 1804, William Taylor 1775.
