Have you tried contacting cemetery to see if they have a list of people (and dates) for those buried in the plot?

I found the marriage of Louis and Bertha in Italian Genealogy database (covers NYC area and is not limited to Italian genealogy as the name implies).
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

I searched for the Cemetery online but found nothing.  Thank you so much for the marriage license information!  That is a start for me.

 - check the NY deaths, there's a death in 1911 for Rosie Elefant aged 40.

A Rosa Elefant arrived in NY in 1910 (www.ellisisland.org) aged 39, married.  She had been in the US before (1903 to 1910 - went home for a visit?). Her next of kin in the US was her husband Louis in NY.  (I find the addresses/birth places hard to read).

Also a Rosie Elefant arrived in NY in 1904, aged 30; her husband was "Leibisch(?) Elefant" in NY.
