The Annseley family had large estates not only in Wexford (main Irish estate, until sold in 1852), but also in Co. Cavan, where they had over 22,000 acres, amongst other places.

Which makes me wonder: If the Reillys were workmen on the Camolin Park demesne, as appears likely, could their ancestor have been brought from Co. Cavan by the Annseleys? An intriguing thought, but there are other Reillys around, so just speculation.

Note that the Catholic parish of Hacketstown is partly in Co. Wicklow (roughy ⅔), and partly in Co. Carlow (roughly ⅓). The village of Hacketstown is in Co. Carlow.

Wow!  Yes, this is so helpful Wexflyer!  Thank you!!! And yes, that is the Michael Reilly (O'Reilly) that I saw in Hacketstown with his 4 children born there. I had assumed that after he married Mary Byrne that he moved towards Wicklow because she was from there, I think.  I had heard that the Byrnes are a big family in Wicklow. Then Michael and Mary immigrated from Wicklow.  I have the birth information of Michael Reilly (O'Reilly) from a local Catholic cemetery in St. Louis where his son, Michael Byrne O'Reilly, had him buried there and erected a tombstone with this info on it "Camolin Parish, Ferns, County Wexford, Ireland", but that could be wrong.  It is good to know what you said about Camolin Parish coming later. Also, very interesting about the marriage to Honora Byrne...I do not see that Mary Byrne had a sister of that name, but maybe it was a cousin. Mary Byrne was born in "Bernagh, Baltinglass, County Wicklow, Ireland" and baptised there by a famous bishop named James Doyle (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Warren_Doyle).
