I cannot find another Charlotte on the death indexes and ages on shipping indexes are rarely correct.  Only 3 years difference with the years of birth of Charlotte on the passenger record and the death reg.  I guess the certificate would reveal all

I have been having a browse & can see these, the marriage was posted above by Sue.

This marriage in NZ: Agnes  Waller + John  Taw  1887/2385 matches with this death in NZ:  Taw  Agnes  43yrs 1895/2742

So it doesn't match with Agnes Waller (mother) remarriage or death or Agnes Patullo Waller (daughter) she married Kealey in 1899 & died in 1950 so I don't know who it is? But it is an oddity.

Could this Agnes TAW who dies in 1895, be the former wife of Edmund Robert WALLER snr. ? 

Yes, I know her "age at death" (43 - bc 1852) doesn't stack up with the Agnes b.c. 1845 ... but ... ?   

*  So, who is the Agnes having a child with John TAW in 1881 ?    

[This TAW surname is somewhat rare in NZ records, just the deaths of Agnes, John and Elizabeth, two births 1881 + 1907 (father, John) ... and two marriages for John.   Can't immediately see anything further for Charles James TAW, (nor John Philip TAW b. 1907 to Elizabeth & John.) ]

I guess there's the question too about how John Taw WALLER (b. VIC 1877), got his name ?

Place of death [Kew] and subsequent inquest could indicate death at Kew Asylum.  Perhaps this is the reason, if it is your John T WALLER, that the age is incorrect.

Sorry, I don't have access to NZ school records which might hopefully confirm a "Mr TAW" as guardian of the WALLER children.   And maybe it is just coincidence that the WALLER boy and a C. TAW, have similar occupations ?
